



Land of Voodoo Recordings, an Independent Techno/Tech-House record label, originally established in 2007, by world-renowned DJ/Producer, Kobbe, has found itself a new home, moving to the music capital of the world, New York City. Brooklyn, NY DJ and Producer, Damien Ford, has taken on the title as label owner, passed on from it's originator, Kobbe, as he has retired from the music industry, after establishing the Land of Voodoo label 3 years ago. As new owner, Damien Ford plans to continue bringing the world a unique blend of Techno and Tech-House, which Land of Voodoo has been known for, while also introducing L.O.V. fans to a new sound and image...one that comprises of sounds influenced by the musical streets of "the city that never sleeps", New York City, while still paying homage to the music and creativity of the artists that helped bring Land of Voodoo the success it has achieved over the years. The philosophy behind the new Land of Voodoo record label is one of forward-thinking. DJs, Producers, L.O.V. Fans and Music Listeners, alike, will be influenced to open their minds to a label striving to set the bar on what is played in nightclubs, on the radio and the direction that the Electronic genre will potentially follow...
"The Land Of Voodoo" started off as a brand name for tribal tracks Kobbe produced with fellow DJ/Producer Austin Leeds. The first release was in 2004, "Kobbe & Austin Leeds present The Land Of Voodoo - Sweat", on Sondos, a sublabel of Eric Morillo's Subliminal Records. Today, in keeping with it's original sound and shape, Land of Voodoo Recordings is looking to both maintain it's big-room, heavy hitting Techno/Tech-House style, incorporating seductive, yet twisted vocals, while also setting the bar for the future of the two highly popular Electronic sub-genres, fusing influences of both New York City's rich musical and creative history with unique, up-to-date, worldly sounds offered by today's most influential DJs/Producers...
